The credit for molding this talented cast goes to director (not to be confused with the legendary filmmaker) and the production house Sun Entertainment . The director revealed in an interview that the casting process took over four months, with over 300 auditions for the role of Suja alone. He chose Sreeja because she brought “quiet strength” to the character. The production design team built a permanent set that resembles a typical Chennai suburb home, allowing the actors to live in their roles.
