Metal Gear Solid - Peace Walker takes place in 1974, shortly after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The game follows the story of Big Boss, also known as Naked Snake, as he becomes embroiled in a complex plot in Costa Rica. The story revolves around a mysterious entity known as the "Peace Walker" and a plot to create a new, highly advanced military force.
