If your hardware changed or you suspect a corrupted activation, you need to (return) the license and then reactivate . the license file is not valid for this computer keyshot
Windows 10/11 feature updates (e.g., from 22H2 to 23H2) can rewrite system identifiers. Similarly, a BIOS update can change the motherboard UUID. KeyShot’s license file does not anticipate these as “the same computer.” KeyShot uses a licensing system (from Wibu-Systems)
If you installed KeyShot as Administrator but are running it as a standard user, or if the C:\ProgramData\CodeMeter folder has incorrect permissions, KeyShot may be unable to read the license file at all. Similarly, a BIOS update can change the motherboard UUID
