A flipped classroom is a pedagogical approach in which the traditional lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed. In a traditional classroom, students typically attend lectures during class time, and then complete homework assignments on their own outside of class. In a flipped classroom, students learn course materials at home through pre-recorded lectures, readings, or other multimedia resources, and then attend class for more interactive and engaging activities, such as discussions, group work, and hands-on experiments.
