One summer day, while riding past a massive field of sunflowers (which, botanically, are heliotropic , or sun-following), Henk had an epiphany. Sunflowers, like nudists, face the sun unashamedly. They are tall, yellow, and unbothered by judgment. Why couldn't he ride his scooter through them in his birthday suit?

At first glance, these three words have nothing in common. One evokes the zippy urban mobility of a Vespa; another conjures fields of Van Gogh’s yellow blossoms; the third brings to mind a sunburned retiree at a clothing-optional beach in Provence.
