Btr St V001 -
The v001 is currently in closed testing. We’ll share performance data and field notes in the coming weeks.
As of this writing, the is not available via DigiKey or Mouser. It is restricted to ST's "Partner Program." However, secondary brokers have listed engineering samples at approximately $89 USD per unit (minimum quantity of 10), compared to a projected $42 MSRP for production v003 units expected in late 2025. How does the stack up against existing SoMs like the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 or the NXP i.MX 8M Mini? The v001 is currently in closed testing
The "v001" here does not imply "beta quality." Instead, it signifies a that stripped away unproven RF features (like 5G NR sub-6) in favor of hardened Gigabit Ethernet and CAN-FD interfaces. For engineers, this means the BTR ST v001 has a lower bug count than most mature production modules. It is restricted to ST's "Partner Program
