802.11n is the Wi-Fi standard released in 2009. It introduced MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) technology, allowing multiple antennas to send and receive data simultaneously. Compared to older 802.11g, it offers better range and reliability. While newer standards (ac and ax) are faster, 802.11n remains excellent for web browsing, email, and 1080p video streaming.
