Waves V9.6 is the last version of the popular plugin suite that fully supports 32-bit hosts and older operating systems like Windows 7 and OS X Yosemite. It’s a solid, mature release, but lacks modern features like high-DPI scaling, native Apple Silicon support, and the new "V14+" workflow improvements.

Trash Pro Tools preferences and delete the WaveShell-AAX 9.6 file from the Avid/AAX/Plug-Ins folder. Reinstall V9.6. Ensure you are running Pro Tools 12.5 or older—PT 2019+ has known AAX issues with V9.6. Waves V9.6
