If it stays “----,” the electrode is dead. | | "OK" flashing | Measurement not yet stable | Do not record. Wait for solid “OK.” | | "BAT" | Low battery | Replace batteries immediately. Low voltage causes inaccurate pH readings. | | "Er. 1" | No buffer solution detected during cal | Probe is dry. Ensure probe is fully submerged in liquid buffer. | | "Er. 2" | Calibration error (slope too low) | Clean the probe. Use fresh buffer. Replace electrode. | | "Er. 5" | Temperature sensor short circuit | The internal temperature sensor is broken. Requires service. |
