The "con" begins when Raj, desperate for a script, steals a murder mystery written by Shekhar. The film becomes a blockbuster, and Raj is hailed as a genius. Meanwhile, Shekhar, unaware of the theft, continues to struggle. The story follows Shekhar’s quest for justice and Raj’s desperate attempts to cover up the lie. Add to the mix a love triangle with the charming Mansi (Amrita Rao), a radio jockey who loves Shekhar’s raw talent but is impressed by Raj’s fake success.
