Copy the update file to the Firmware folder within your server directory (e.g., C:\Program Files(x86)\Tyco\CrossFire\... ). Open the C•CURE 9000 Administration Station .
Do not update "just because." If your system is stable, meets your needs, and is not internet-facing, you might skip the update. Only update to solve a specific problem or patch a known CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures). Istar Firmware Download
