Upon restart, you’ll see a boot menu. Choose “Android-x86.” The first boot may take 3–5 minutes as it builds the Dalvik cache and sets up data partitions. Congratulations—you are now running native Android on your PC!

Then reinstall Android-x86, but in Advanced Mode, manually select the system disk.

Windows’ Fast Startup feature can lock the NTFS partition. Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do > Turn off Fast Startup. Reboot.
