When you download a factory image for a Google Pixel (or similar AOSP devices), the file is usually a compressed archive containing various .img files (system, boot, vendor, radio, etc.) and a script file.

Google Pixel devices now use flash-all.bat with additional fastboot wipe-super and logical partition commands. The script remains relevant, but its complexity grows. fastboot flash-all bat
