ZM maps for CS 1.6 are not competitive. They are not balanced. They are not eSports. But they are —the kind where you laugh when a zombie climbs through a vent behind your team, scream when the last barricade breaks, and cheer when the helicopter finally lands.
This map introduces the "parkour" style. Players spawn on a cruise ship in a storm. The goal is to run a circuit: from the helipad, through the casino, down to the engine room, and back up. Zombies spawn with a speed boost, so hesitation means death. Creating a successful ZM map is an art form. Mappers for GoldSource (the engine running CS 1.6) had to work within strict limits. But they are —the kind where you laugh
