⚠️ Do not confuse with GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection). This is a port injector (installed in the intake manifold). If your car has a high-pressure fuel pump on the valve cover, this is the wrong part.

Possibly. On V6 engines (Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7L), there is a Bank 1 Sensor 1 (front cylinder bank) and Bank 2 Sensor 1 (rear cylinder bank). Some applications use the same part number for both, but verify bank 2 may require a different cable length (24356-2E710). Consult your service manual.

Guided by the Engine Control Unit (ECU), the actuator uses oil pressure to shift the camshaft angle dynamically.

Paradoxically, a leaking injector (one that drips fuel when it should be closed) will cause the engine to burn more fuel than necessary. Conversely, the ECU might try to compensate for a lean condition by dumping more fuel, also wasting gas.
