Using a PDF reader (like Adobe Acrobat or GoodNotes), you can highlight critical values, add sticky notes for project-specific modifications, or draw redlines directly on the tables.
Many senior engineers build their own pocket PDF using Excel. They copy-paste filtered data from the AISC database (available as a CSV file) into a spreadsheet, format for 6" x 9" paper, and "Print to PDF." This allows customization for project-specific steel grades.
On your phone (iPhone with Books or Android with ReadEra), disable "two-page view." Enable continuous scroll for flicking through sections.
