If your drive contains critical, irreplaceable data, do not use MPTool. This tool performs a full destructive erase. Instead, attempt data recovery software first (e.g., Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery, DMDE). Only use MPTool after you have either recovered your data or accepted that it will be permanently destroyed.
But what exactly is this tool, and when should (and shouldn’t) you use it?
