Omniglyph ((top)) Official

NASA’s Pioneer Plaque (1972) featured a crude attempt at universal symbols—a naked man and woman, a hydrogen atom. An omniglyph-based plaque would be far superior. Instead of drawing a human, it would draw a graph of homeostatic life maintenance. Instead of a map of pulsars, it would use omniglyphs for prime numbers and binary logic. For an alien intelligence, an omniglyph is more likely to be decoded than a stick figure.
