Helen, still seeking revenge, breaks into the mansion to kill Madeline. She shoots Madeline twice in the chest. Madeline doesn't flinch. She pulls out the bullets and laughs. Helen flees in terror, goes to Lisle’s mansion, and also drinks the potion (paying with Ernest's stolen credit cards).
