The story picks up with Shrek (Mike Myers) and Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) taking over the reins of Far Far Away following the death of King Harold (John Cleese). Shrek, desperate to return to his quiet life in the swamp, sets out on a quest to find the only other heir to the throne: Fiona’s rebellious teenage cousin, Arthur Pendragon (Justin Timberlake).
