Repack - Sabaya Film

The film follows Resho and his small team as they infiltrate the Al-Hol camp. The camp is a labyrinth of tents, mud, and ideology. The team operates under the constant threat of violence. To rescue the Yazidi women, they must blend in, navigate the complex social hierarchy of the camp, and extract the women before the "Hisba"—the ISIS morality police—discover them.

Sabaya does not rely on voice-over narration or archival footage to set the scene. Instead, the camera is placed firmly in the passenger seat of a dilapidated car driven by Mahmud Resho, a member of the "Kurdish Yazidi Free Women’s Movement" (TAJK). Resho acts as the protagonist on the ground, though he would likely reject the title of "hero," viewing his work simply as a grim necessity. sabaya film
