Mlx90614 Proteus Library [repack] (2026)

Guide: MLX90614 Proteus Library – Installation & Simulation 1. Overview The MLX90614 is a non-contact infrared thermometer from Melexis. Since Proteus does not include this sensor by default, you need a custom library ( .IDX and .LIB files) to simulate it.

⚠️ Note : Official Proteus libraries do not include MLX90614. You must use third-party or community-created models.

2. Obtaining the Library Search for “MLX90614 Proteus library” on these platforms:

Common filenames you may find:

3. Installing the Library in Proteus Step 1: Locate Proteus Library Folder

Default path (Windows): C:\Program Files (x86)\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 8 Professional\LIBRARY Or: C:\ProgramData\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 8 Professional\LIBRARY

Step 2: Copy Library Files

Copy MLX90614.IDX and MLX90614.LIB into the LIBRARY folder.

Step 3: Restart Proteus
