Each item on the questionnaire is rated on a 4-point Likert scale, ranging from 0 (did not apply to me at all) to 3 (applied to me very much, or most of the time). The DASS-144 takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete, making it a relatively quick and easy assessment tool.
The scoring process involves summing the ratings for each subscale, with higher scores indicating greater symptom severity.
