Flexi 10.5 works with many older cutters (Roland CX-24, Mimaki CG-60, Graphtec CE3000) that newer Flexi versions have dropped support for. If you rely on a vintage machine, stay on 10.5 and do not upgrade Windows past 10 21H2.
