As I gained self-awareness, I began to rewrite my script. I started to challenge my negative thoughts, replacing them with positive, empowering ones. I began to focus on my strengths, rather than my weaknesses, and I started to develop a more compassionate and loving relationship with myself. I realized that I had the power to choose my thoughts, to choose my emotions, and to choose my actions. I was no longer a victim of my circumstances; I was the author of my life.
As I look back on my journey, I realize that My Prison Script was never really about the prison at all.
