In previous versions, relics were just stat boosts. Now, each relic carries a "Karmic Echo." If you pick up a relic belonging to a character you previously killed (such as Qin Shihuangs jade or the White Lily brooch), the DLC spawns a phantom version of that character in the next room. You must "re-litigate" your past choices. Do you kill the phantom again (gaining raw power) or perform a "Remorse" action (sacrificing health for a permanent blessing)?

Trigger: Your Karma Gauge is completely unbalanced (full Yang or full Yin). You destroy the Karmic Void with rage. A cinematic shows Bi An collapsing into the warm snow.
