All legacy gear has been tiered down. The infamous "Awakened" and "Celestial" gear that dominated the leaderboards has been recalibrated. A new rarity tier called has been introduced. Unlike old gear, Origin gear cannot be bought with cash directly. It must be crafted by dismantling duplicate heroes, encouraging players to actually play the game rather than whale out on loot boxes.
