The Kolimer loader is the most recognized "crack" or activator in the VAG enthusiast community. VCDS software is notoriously locked to official Ross-Tech cables via firmware. When you use a generic cable with the official software, it usually fails to activate or, worse, "bricks" the cable by wiping its firmware.
