The narrative quickly shifted from "Will the game be good?" to "Is the game playable?" The situation became so dire that, for a period, the game was nearly unplayable on PC due to a "black screen" bug that affected users with high-end hardware.

The documentary-style video packages between matches were excellent. For fans of the women’s division, this was the highlight of —when it didn't crash during a cutscene.
