Starcraft Brood War Portable -1.16.1- ~upd~

Patch 1.16.1 was released in 2009. It was not a radical overhaul, but a series of precise surgical fixes. For competitive players, the 1.16.1 version is synonymous with the ICCup and ShieldBattery eras. It supports the classic .rep replay format perfectly, allowing players to study the legendary matches of Flash, Jaedong, and Bisu without any compatibility layers. While the official Battle.net servers have largely migrated to the Remastered client, the portable 1.16.1 version is still the primary tool for those playing on private servers or via local area networks.
