This has been one of my favorite songs for years. I contacted Rick back in 2002 about collaborating, partly because I had sung this song so many times. The recording is from Rick's Praise Classics 2 CD. - Elton, September 12, 2009

Lyrics

Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

Lord, I lift Your name on high.
Lord, I love to sing Your praises.
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

You came from Heaven to earth
To show the way.
From the Earth to the cross,
My debt to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your name on high.

By 2012, the Indian government, under pressure from the Tamil Film Producers Council, began blocking ISP access to Tamilyogi domains. But Tamilyogi played a game of whack-a-mole:

You might ask: if Goa was a hit, why not just rent the DVD? The answer lies in access.

Upon release in February 2010, Goa received mixed critical reviews but opened to a strong response from urban youth. However, it was not the blockbuster that Chennai 600028 was. It settled into a status, but more importantly, it found a massive second life on home video and—crucially—on pirate websites.

| Area | Findings | |------|----------| | | “Goa” (2010) is a Hindi‑language comedy‑drama produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions , starring Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda, and Akshay Kumar . The film is protected by Indian copyright law and international treaties. | | Piracy Source | Tamilyogi (domain variations: tamilyogi.in , tamilyogi.org , etc.) operated as a “file‑sharing” portal offering free streaming and downloads of Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and other Indian language movies. The site was known for hosting full‑length, high‑quality copies of newly released titles within days of theatrical release. | | Infringement Timeline | • Theatrical release in India: 31 Oct 2010 (wide release). • First appearance of “Goa” on Tamilyogi: 7 Nov 2010 (≈ 7 days post‑release). • Peak download/streaming activity: Nov 2010 – Mar 2011, with > 250 K unique IP hits per day (based on third‑party traffic analytics). | | Geographic Reach | Traffic logs indicate major visitor clusters in: India (particularly Tamil‑speaking states), United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, and Malaysia. | | Financial Impact | Estimated box‑office loss attributable to piracy (per industry studies) ranges from 10 % – 15 % of domestic gross (≈ ₹ 30–45 million). Ancillary revenue (satellite, OTT) also suffered due to early leakage. | | Legal Action | • A civil suit filed by UTV Motion Pictures Ltd. against the operators of Tamilyogi (Delhi High Court, 2011). • Inter‑agency operation “Operation Sanjivani ” (2012) resulted in the seizure of Tamilyogi servers in Singapore and India, leading to a court order for domain takedown. | | Current Status | The primary Tamilyogi domains have been suspended; however, mirror sites and proxy services continue to circulate the same content under different URLs. |

(2010) is a Tamil adult comedy-drama directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth. The film is celebrated for its quirky humor, spoofs of popular Tamil cinema, and its "ahead-of-its-time" portrayal of modern relationships.
