A trainer can freeze the stress bar, allowing you to work indefinitely without mental breakdowns.

JudgeSim is notoriously difficult. The game relies on a delicate balance of resources. If you run out of money, you can’t pay your bills. If you make the wrong people angry, the mafia comes for you. If your stress gets too high, your performance suffers.
