Founded by a group of CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) artists who met in online rendering forums during the early Blender and Cinema 4D days, the studio started as a collective of freelancers sharing a server. The name "RedLagoon" was chosen to evoke a sense of surrealism—a familiar natural element (a lagoon) twisted by a vibrant, unsettling color (red), signaling their intent to bend reality.
