Motorcycle engines are dry-sump or semi-dry-sump lubrication systems designed to stay oiled while leaning at 45 degrees. In a racing car, pulling high G-forces on slick tires can starve the engine of oil. A good technical manual will explain how to fabricate baffled sumps or dry sump tanks to keep the engine alive during high-speed corners.
