The story is set in Bogotá, Colombia, at the American non-profit organization, Belko Industries. One day, during a seemingly normal work morning, a mysterious voice comes over the intercom. The employees are told that within a set time, they must kill a certain number of their co-workers. If they fail to do so, the explosive tracking devices implanted in the base of their skulls will be detonated, killing even more people.
